6th Annual Walk Her Way® 

Fun walk to raise awareness of domestic and sexual violence.

A special thanks to our sponsors, donors, supporters, walkers, and volunteers! The 2017 Walk Her Way® was an evening of fun and a huge success!!

THE 2017 ACTIVITIES INCLUDED

​

PRE-EVENT STREET PARTY (5:30 pm)
Hosted by Rosemary Beach Realty and Pish Posh Patchouli’s

​

PARADE, WALK, STRUT, or STROLL (6:30 PM)
Led by the  Village Brass Band for a New Orleans style street parade through Rosemary Beach, Florida, walkers paraded in pumps; walked in wedges; strutted in stilettos and stroll in sneakers.  

 

AFTER PARTY (7pm)
Attendees danced to live music featuring the variety band–Totally Hep-Cats, food and drinks.  A photobooth provided by Rosemary Beach Cottage Rental and awards made by Walton County students added to the evening’s celebration.

Walk Her Way benefits Shelter House, the domestic and sexual violence center serving Okaloosa and Walton counties and Rosemary Beach Foundation, a nonprofit organization that offers community, educational and other charitable activities in Walton County.

Shelter House** is the domestic and sexual violence center serving Okaloosa and Walton counties.  All services provided by Shelter House are free and confidential for victims and include a 24-hour hotline, crisis counseling, advocacy, outreach, primary prevention, transitional housing, confidential shelter and supportive services for family members of sexual violence victims.  www.shelterhousenwfl.org
